Dike-O-Lastic Preform Seals

All Dike-O-Seal preform seals are designed to prevent blo-by at the parting of core boxes between the cope and drag and the escape of curing gases in the gas header manifold.

These seals can be used on any cavitated assemblies not exclusively foundry applications. Having done so since 1955, they have proven themselves to be very cost effective.

An effective seal can be achieved in core boxes and gassing plates. A machined groove around the perimeter of the core box cavity, or individual cavities in the case of multi-cavity boxes, will accept the Dike-O-Lastic seal without the use of adhesives in most cases.
